A day of giving not only to receive but to pay it forward. Those attending received two gifts. One gift for themselves, and another to give away. Those sending in poof of paying it forward received a second gift - A BRAND NEW BICYCLE

#Team Change was launched in June of 2016. Since, the Henrico County Police Department have mentored through our lunch buddy system. The positive effects of the force within our school now will reach beyond its walls.
An overwhelming number of other influential people, have partnered to support by volunteering to promote the vision.
March 2017, Pastor Marcus Martin opens his doors to assist in hosting session.
Participants receive certificates of completion along with other rewards and academic opportunities. Importantly they will be deputized by our "Men In Blue." The benefit being coming back to pay it forward to the next group of participants.
Elementary boys of Highland Springs, Virginia moving to take charge of the change they want to see in Highland Springs. This generation of leaders will raise the bar...it's time for a new normal in Highland Springs, VA.

#Team Change is working to unlock the leader within elementary young men by placing positive role models as mentors. #Team Change will provide enriching opportunities to communicate bi-monthly in a safe and secure environment. As in all quality mentoring relationships, the needs and interests of the young people drive the exchanges between the mentee and mentor.

Taking Charge of the Change
The Community has become the TEAM CHANGING its community. It starts with perception and working together. Henrico County Police Department has taken the initiative to change the negative image and climate surrounding the Men-In-Blue.
Representatives under the leadership of Lieutenant Scott Kibicki have gone above and beyond to move a community from fear and anger to a community of trust and protection.
